The benefits of a regular eye test
According to the World Health Organisation, 80% of blindness is preventable, and having a simple eye test done on a regular basis can really make a difference. Without regular eye examinations, you could miss the early signs of an eye disease. This can lead to serious problems with your eye health and you may miss the chance to protect your vision.

Retinal photography
Most of the time, the results of a standard sight test are ideal. However, what if you start to see little grey flecks floating around your sight suddenly? Or, one morning you wake up with a red eye? These, and many other such circumstances are not often covered under the sight test – you need specialised investigations, including retinal imaging.
Retinal imaging or retinal photography is the process of taking a digital picture of your retina, optic disc and the blood vessels at the back of your eye. This helps to identify any existing or potential eye disease and also check the health of your eyes.
